Three-Layer Filtration
This replacement filter features a three-layer system: a cotton layer, activated carbon, and pre-filter sponges. Together, these layers effectively remove hair, debris, odors, and other impurities, ensuring that your cat’s drinking water remains fresh and clean.
Pre-Filter Sponges
The pre-filter sponges are specially designed to catch debris before it reaches the filtering layers. By preventing debris from clogging the pump, these sponges extend the working life of your fountain.
Regular Maintenance
Before first use, soak the filter in water for 5 minutes and then thoroughly rinse under running water. For optimal performance, replace the filter every 4 weeks during the summer and every 4 to 6 weeks during the winter. Increase the frequency of replacement if you have multiple cats using the water fountain.
